And, if it's the opposite sex you're looking for, the best place to meet wimmin in this town is at any mall. But it isn't all that easy to make friends in Las Vegas outside of the workplace unless you have kids. Kids make friends, then the parents get to know one another.

The XYL and I were just in Montreal in October and noticed a large Asian population lives there. In fact there are people from all over the world there, and we were wondering what the attraction is to people from other countries and cultures. Especially since the French don't seem to like anybody that can't speak French like a Parisian. And it's cold and wet there too.
Thanks for the tips!!

Regarding Montreal, it is heavily populated by Italians, Greeks, Jewish and Arabs. Asians are only a small proportion. As for the French, it is wise to distinguish French Quebecer from French from France. Completely different culture and language. Some people wouldn't be too happy if you said that to them .

One of the best ways to do this is to meet people on the web, and arrange get togethers when you're in town. I did this on a couple of occasions in Vegas.
