I was pleased to see the opening of the Silverado Ranch exit off of I-15. The problem is that many drivers heading south bound on the I-15 may take the Silverado Ranch exit thinking that Silverado Ranch connects to Decatur. I was one of many drivers who ventured up Silverado Ranch towards Decatur only to find that Silverado Ranch falls short by about 20’ from connecting to Decatur. I had to turn around, drive back to Dean Martin, head over to Cactus and then up to Decatur. You would think they would have placed a “no outlet” sign at the corner of Silverado Ranch and Dean Martin as you exit the I-15.

It’s even worse in the morning taking Cactus to Dean Martin over to the Silverado Ranch ramp. A stop sign at Cactus and Dean Martin has traffic backed up all the way past Valley View.

Does anyone know if they are planning on connecting Silverado Ranch with Decatur anytime soon?

If Dean Martin is backed up...does that mean he's constipated?

LOL..if he's constipated, it means he's still alive.

As for that exit, i think they only wanted to get more people into the South Coast/Point (whatever they are calling it now) casino. They don't care if you are trying to go home, they just want you in that casino spending all your money! So they figure you will just give up and go inside. lol

i agree. its good that the exit and overpass opened up. whenever i my relatives are over they want to go to southpoint for the low limit casino and the coronado cafe. now i dont have to go all the way around just to get to southpoint. pretty convenient imo.
