We didn't have our traditional Thanksgiving food this past Thanksgiving because the people we are staying with don't celebrate. So when I get settled this weekend in my new place, I am going to plan our first big meal which will happen to be traditional holiday food fare.

The menu will include: Homemade baked mac and cheese, baked candied yams, dressing and giblet gravy, fried corn, fried green tomatoes, collards, green beans with potatoes, cranberry sauce, rice, fried chicken, cornbread, scratch red velvet cake, sweet potato pie, potato salad, dinner rolls and deviled eggs.

I can hardly contain the butterflies in my stomach! Rain or no rain, Vegas, here we come!

LOL. We don't typically eat like this except for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The first place I'm hitting after unloading my car is the grocery store!

Anytime! When it was Thanksgiving, my friends were posting their menus on facebook. My mouth was doing the Wendy Williams water reading it.
