22 days til we move to Las Vegas!!!!! Despite the sometimes irritating details, I can't tell you how excited we are to start our new lives in Vegas.

I know your how you feel, I moved here last year. I hope you have jobs already or work in a high demand field - the job market was a lot tougher than I thought it would be. But I've found a job and don't regret moving at all. I love the weather, all the retail options (I came from a small town), and of course all the entertainment that Las Vegas offers! Good luck in the future, good luck with your move (watch the weather forecasts & crazy drivers) and welcome to Las Vegas!

I'm right behind you OP. My move is in January. Can't wait to get out of the Northeast cold winters and humid summers. No more shoveling snow for me. Not to mention incredibly high property taxes where I currently live.

I will be moving there in June. I also can't wait. Have enjoyed staying in my condo when down there on vacations the past year!

Thank you! Do you mean watch out for the crazy drivers on the way to Vegas or once I get there! LOL. I'm used to New York City cab drivers and those fast driving Chicagoans! Was it a difficult adjustment?

I definitely know about those winters. I lived in New York for ten years and then moved to Chicago! Those Chicago winters with that wind chill are brutal. I look forward to the weather in Vegas.
