I'm guessing that one of these political noisefree organizations, like Noisefree.org or Noiseoff, will eventually tackle this issue of noisy helicopters in our neighborhoods one day and bring it to the forefront, like they have with leaf blowers, boom cars and car alarms. Nosefree.org has their Noisy City Awards every month.

Until then, keep your 33 decibel earplugs handy!

Maybe they built an ocean somewhere.
Are you color blind? I said white and RED, not orange. As soon as I can, I will get a photo of one in here.

I believe the grow houses are in Hooterville (Henderson) us poor people here on the east side can't afford the 3,000 sq ft homes to make a good grow house.

The only helicopter traffic I see east of Hollywood is the usual "returning from the canyon" traffic twice a day. We can't see or hear what goes on at Nellis from our place, though. There has been no increase in the appearance of "ghetto birds" around here, at least.

Harsh.
Chances are you are color blind. Or at least your monitor is miscalibrated - which is more common than not. The coast guard colors are white, red and blue. Not orange. In fact, the official color in the coast guard service mark is Pantone "CG Red."

CG Red is closer to orange or even to a purple orange than a red. Kind of a reddish tint of international orange.

Coast guard in Ireland which they call the Navy is orange and white. The picture shown here looked like that over there. But I don't think the coast guard is flying over here too much. For the past 2 days the traffic has subsided here on the east side I was just wondering if wind patterns also affect them where they fly???

Would you all be shocked to know there is CG group stationed not far from here? Loran Station Searchlight Nevada U

Usually though, if you see a red or orange and white helicopter, it's flight for life.
