They might. Back in the nineties when I got my EMT license, the park service was handling Lake Mead, but lots of things changed after 9-11. (My instructor was a park ranger out there)

Im only takin a WAG.....I seem to recall back when I had a hole in the water the I threw money into, the CG did the inspections....
