My husband and I are with At&t and have extremely poor cell service inside our house. We don't have a house phone so it can be pretty frustrating when I'm trying to make a call or send a text and I get the "searching" message or it takes forever for the text to send. We'd like to move to Sprint and get iPhone 5's but we are wondering if the service will be just as bad. Does anyone live or work in The Lakes / Peccole Ranch area and have an iPhone and Sprint? I'd like to get some feedback before we drop At&t (since we're sick of them dropping our calls)

See if you can get the application. Carrier compare.

Have you looked into a microcell?

AT&T 3G MicroCell - Wireless Signal Booster - Wireless from AT&T

You might be able to get it for free if you're persistent. If not, they're available on eBay for about half of the cost.

I think you will be getting worse coverage with Sprint. Verizon should cover that area pretty well. Since your cell phone is your primary phone, you should go with the most reliable coverage.

Just an FYI we're in The Lakes off Crystal Water Way. Verizon Wireless with excellent coverage. I walk several miles a night and use an app that tracks my distance, speed, etc. Every time I glance at my phone while out and about I have full bars.

I am in the Lakes off Grand Canyon. I have Sprint and the reception has been fine.
The signal was good enough that I could even use my phone as a hotspot to run the internet on my computer.

I'm just curious if anyone has been able to get the new 4G LTE in the Las Vegas area with any of the carriers?

Verizon has excellent 4G LTE coverage just about everywhere I've been to in town.

The problem is that you're with sprint and they don't have LTE coverage in Las Vegas. As of a few months ago they were in 43 markets.
