Between you and your employer, how much is your total premiums? Who does it cover? For example: My employer pays $550 and I pay $50. To add my husband, I pay an additional $217. I don't think my health insurance is all that great, but I am told it is better than average.

I am very curious as to what everyone else pays.

The premium alone doesn't tell anything I suppose. What counts is the deductibles, caps, co-pays, exclusions, network availability etc. Our total premium has just been raised to ~$1650 per month for the whole family, including dental and vision. However, we have a $1000 per person and $3000 per family annual deductible. Most expenses beyond that cap the insurance pays 80% and we the remaining 20%. This sounds like a horrible plan to me but unfortunately we don't have no other choice right now. The only good thing is that our employer pays 50% of that for any employee but in our case they pay 75%. This leaves us with a $200 deduction off each bi-weekly paycheck.

I pay $334 per month for my wife and I. My employer pays $490 per month. No deductibles just 25. Copay (50 specialist ) Considering the bills for 2012 were over $150, 000 for us, the insurance is a godsend.

I have Blue Cross PPO with no monthly payment. Normally it is $10 per office visit. If we go out of network then it is 80/20.

My insuarance is $138.98 biweekly with my employer paying roughly $462...Our copays are for our regular doctors $10 or specialists $20 only, all else is no co pays..... Hospital stay is $50 to $100... Emergency room is $50.... Prescrips are $15 tops for generic and up to $50 for name brand...

I have Kaiser and have had it for the last 32 years..... BUT I will sorely miss them when we move to Las Vegas......

And if we have a problem where Kaiser is not we go to the Hodspital and they bill Kaiser.. We then get a bill for $50 from Kaiser for our part...

You are correct; I didn't even think about that.

How many people does this cover? Do you also have an HSA?

It's a family plan, so it actually wouldn't matter. However, we're a family of three. HSA? I never actually looked into this.

The company does not me. I have no idea what the amount would be.
