Just curious if anybody has traveled to Vegas alone, im a 31 year old guy, newly single and I thought it may be a fun trip to hit up some casinos and clubs for 5 nights. Is this a good idea to go alone or do you not think I could meet any ladies flying solo in those places? Im thinking clubs on the strip, staying on the strip.

I've recently traveled solo to Vegas a couple of times. As long as you're dressed for the clubs, you shouldn't have any issues meeting people there. One thing I would suggest is to chat up the bartender and serving personnel, just for the sake of showing that you are capable of holding a conversation. You don't want to be that creepy dude standing at a table by youself, watching the girls on the dance floor. Saw that a couple of times and

Hooking up aside, I found a couple of interesting perks going solo. If you go to a show, you tend to get better seats because the people at the ticket counter will be able to fill in those empty single seats. Also, the time share people at the casinos don't stop solo travelers

I frequently travel to Las Vegas by myself. But I spent 30 years of my life traveling for a living, so I'm pretty comfortable doing that type of thing. I don't hang out in the bars and clubs, but I suspect that, if you dress appropriately and take lots of money, you'll be fine.

You will be ok.. You would be just another person in the crowds. The strip in just one street basically so if you go one way at some point you can just turn around and go back the way you came. Get a bus pass and enjoy..Casino's on both sides of the street.. Oh yea get one of those all day buffet passes.. To see some specials "Like" some hotels on Facebook..Ex: Luxor.. Enjoy..

I've been to Vegas a few times by myself. Never had a problem, never felt weird of uncomfortable. There are a lot of people walking around by themselves or gambling by themselves. In some ways, it's almost more fun and liberating because you can do whatever you want.

It depends on how good you are at meeting wimmin where you live now. If you are irresistible in Podunk, you'll probably be irresistible here too. But if not, and as you say, you are newly single, it can be really lonely even in a typical crowd of 300,000 plus tourists. If you come to see the sights, and not have great expectations about getting la*d, you'll have a good time.

I've been there alone a couple of times. I met friends there for a night or two, but for the most part alone. I LOVED it. Did what I wanted when I did. I am a single woman and never felt unsafe at all. I stayed downtown and felt perfectly at ease hanging ut and watching the bands on Fremont till the wee hours of the morning.

Also, I got more mug shots taken when I went to the Mob Museum, got to ride the XScream on top of the Strat with some fun people, and had plenty of doing nothing time at the pool on top of Binions...all because I had no one's schedule to adhere to but my own.
