I was wondering if anyone has been to the MGM grand garden arena for a boxing fight. If so how are the seats in the arena as far as seeing the action in the ring. I was looking to get seats in the Lower middle or upper in the stands but not at the top of the arena any one have any input on how good the seats are? Please let me know.

Thanks

Its an old style arena, built just before every arena started going up, not out. So the stuff at the top which is closest to the ring is not bad, but the seats on the end are amazingly far away from the action.

I've been to numerous boxing events at the MGM. I've been up at the highest seat available (De la Hoya) and I didn't think it was horrible. That being said, my advice would be to stay away from the seats that are on the corners. I like to sit in the U and M sections 10-15. The worst part of going is when the fight is over, trying to get out of the arena. I usually walk outside towards the parking garage and re-enter the casino that way. It takes about 10 minutes as opposed to the 45 minutes it takes if you go out of the arena through the shops and restaurants.
