Thank you for your opinion.

He worked hard all his life and became successful, money cannot buy happiness and in this case the man and his successful pig farm. Through years of hard work and dedication, the successful pig farm gives him satisfaction and happiness. I'm glad the pig farm is around because I will always be assured of roasted pig on the menu and pork belly in many of the restaurants in town. Hahahaha!!!

Talking concur

I have no problem with eating the pigs or Mr. combs enterprise. In fact, I'm a member of PETA but probably not the one you are thinking. I hold member ship in PETA, "People Eating Tasty Animals." Thank you and good night.

The pigs eat discarded food from casinos. That's what the smell is. Not the pigs. That really isn't all that bad. It's the mountain of rotting casino food that stinks to high heaven.

And the pigs are eating a diet that includes discarded pork. Rule number one: cannibalism is the source of the world's most thoroughly nasty diseases. Mad cow, for instance.

I won't eat anything that is fed on a diet of their own kind. We toss pork into the bins that go to the pigs all day long. Thanks but no thanks.

Toto, we're not talking about Metro PD anymore are we?

There's an elementary and middle school not too far away from there and it can get pretty pungent.

I wonder if the younglings are used to it or do the 3Rs come to skidmark halt when the wind prevails.

Some folks were complaining about the Shootin' Park too - which also came first.

I'm horrified and disgusted! Long Live RC Pig Farm even though many in North Las Vegas despise your presence and the horrible odor coming from the farm.

You can't roll a rock up a hill that steep
You can't pull roots when they run that deep
Daddy won't sell the farm

Default No complaints about the Pig Farm...

But he needs to go ahead and put sidewalks adjacent to his property. The Arco is days away from opening. They have put in their street upgrades. The traffic at the intersection is a nuisance during a morning commute. There is no stoplight and the stop sign is not sufficient anymore. Motorists use 5th street as a main road and the 5th street corridor needs to be upgraded all the way to Craig.

I shutter to think what will be put in its place? More housing? A smoke shop? A Walmart? Another crime attracting strip mall? Long live the Pig Farm, just put in your streets.

Zombie thread?? I wish he would sell under the condition that it would be a park. Id hate to live in houses there and be haunted by the ghosts of pigs past. Im sure it would be houses though. It's too far from a main corridor to be a strip mall.

He never has to put in streets or sidewalks. He has RE zoning or even agricultural zoning, 2 per acre and no sidewalks or street lights..and his zoning is from the County not NLV.

In general any finishing of the streets would be required only when the property develops...and he is not going to develop any of that.

NLV can get together with the County and fix the streets if they wish...but they won't be able to make the owner pay for it...at least not until he develops it. And I doubt they can get the County to put in sidewalks or street lights.

the right thing to do is work a land swap for some suitable facility in Apex. That an a few million dollars and he agrees to move. An unfriendly county commission could force him to be more accomodating but I doubt it with the present players.
