Hah, we lived off Woods Chapel for about 3 years then built a house off of 7 hwy and Duncan Rd., and lived there for about 12 years or so. Moved here 2 years ago for my husband's job. All our family is still in KC and that might be part of the reason were so happy we're here now But honestly it was the best decision we've ever made for our family. It was hardest on our oldest child moving right after his freshman year in high school however 2 years later and all 3 of our kids and both of us are thriving here. Doesn't work for everyone but if you can get jobs lined up I'd say give it a shot. We don't regret it for one minute.

Yeah..we live at Duncan and Woods Chapel. Our apartment backs up to Burr Oak Conservation Land. Can you say boring? I think once my wife gets used to Vegas she will be glad she gave it a chance.

I can honestly say I was petrified to move here. All I've ever known was Missouri. It's definitely different but it was a truly blessing for our family. With the lifestyle change, were always outside now, we are all healthier and happier - I've even lost 60lbs with nothing changing except were not stuck inside because wet, humidity and snow. Sure - the sun is harsh - but honestly I'd take a 112 degree day in the Las Vegas summer where I can retreat to the pool or the shade as opposed to a 80 degree day in the humidity of Missouri. There's no limit to things you can entertain yourselves with and not even spend money to do them here.
