Question Trick or Treating for kids

New to the area and would like any ideas as to take my kids trick or treating in the North to Northwest areas. Any suggestions and/or times would help thanks in advance

I would suggest trick or treating in your neighborhood. It's a great opportunity to meet your neighbors. Candy is candy.

Once worked with a lady....she lived out in Spring Valley....only took her kids t-or-tn in the Rancho circle area [was ungated then] so SHE could see inside the "Rich peoples houses"

hmmmmm MAYBE SHE was the reason they gated it

Trick or Treating here is not like back in Michigan. There really is no set time, it usually starts when it gets dark and ends between 8 and 9. Try your neighborhood if you have enough houses or try any that you pass during the day that look nice. Anywhere in Aliante or the subs down El Camino should be close enough to you and provide a ton of candy. Enjoy the pleasure of not having to buy a costume big enough to fit over your winter coat!!!! My kids had the best time last year not being all bundled up for the first time in their lives

give the kids something healthy like apples lol we gave kids the king size bars from costco they love any candy thats big haha once when i was young'n i went trick or treatin in our neighborhood which was a majority of filipinos and they gave out sponge cakes and lumpia lol

In my daugter's neighborhood they have a contest for decorating your house. It's off El Camino Al Norte in NLV. my XYL and I will be there helping to give out candy.
