Great choice in your new home at Wellington Meadows. I lived in that area for 9 years before moving to Aliante. That's a great area, and you have so much you can walk to from there. There is a nice park with a good walking/biking trail off of Hulapai, heading north. Right after you go through the light at Charleston, make an immediate left onto the first street, (it's easy to miss at first) and the park is on your right, right past the senior center/homes.
Long stairs head down into the park. I used to walk the trails there and ride my bike.

Thank you for your commentary and for the trail info!! Getting a thumbs-up from you (who, I think, has some gravitas on the boards) lifts my spirits considerably. Can't wait until the lease is up!

You do realize, that some of these apartments you have listed are in really bad areas of Las Vegas?

Words of advice and caution........you get what you pay for.

some of those on the list i think are section 8 places and housing projects....
