I'm not too familiar with the area but I think there's tons of shopping at Ann & 95, and at Charleston & 215. I'm wondering if there are any plans for a supermarket or any sort of shopping in Providence itself? Does the area have to build up a bit more before that will be an option? I'm use to driving like 2 minutes to the supermarket and going farther will take a little getting used to.

Depending on where in Providence there are two close in the area. In all cases you need to make your way east to Durango. There is a Smith's at Durango and Elkorn and another large market at Durango and El Capitan/Farm.

There are few streets that go straight through. From Hualapai you need to pick up Grand Teton, Severance, or Deer Springs east bound. Take it to Grand Canyon than go south from Grand Teton and Severance or north from Deer Springs to Elkhorn. Take Elkhorn east to Durango. The Smith's is across the street or take a left to the other super across the 95. Drive up and down that stretch of Durango and you will find most services and restaurants.

There is also a heavier shopping area at 95 and 215.

At one time they planned a great deal of shopping. I am guessing it has all been shelved. That was going to be the next great master planned community before the bottom fell out. We're lucky it still survives actually. The major shopping is close though. Perhaps not within walking distance but very close.

All the shopping is on Durango.

I often go to Target which is not too far away, just hop on the 215

Centennial PKWY has more major shopping. They even have that den of evil Wal-mart. Home Depot, Michaels, too many for me to name really.

By the way, there is a nice donut shop on Centennial Pkwy and Durango that is very good.
