We saw a commercial for one of them in Chicago that we see here. Can't remember the name. Youngish blond guy.

I did patent and trademark litigation and also a lot of trademark prosecution work getting client's trademarks registered worldwide. It was interesting and I had foreign associates in just about every country on earth.

Did some copyright work but not a whole lot.

Ummmm...yes, it really is.

The people who come here and never leave their hotel (or the Strip in general) don't seem to realize that there is actually a city here, with grocery stores, hospitals, gas stations (not just the one where they refill their rental cars on the way back to McCarran), police and fire departments, etc.

He's also in Phoenix teamed up with a guy with the last name of Rowe. The commercials are incessant "Lener and Rowe is the way to go call 977 one nine oh oh" (977-1900)

One day on ESPN Radio, the hosts asked people who work in the casino/hotel industry to relate the dumbest question that a tourist had ever asked them. A guy who worked at the Venetian said that a tourist asked him if the gondolas could take him to the airport.

It's amazing how many people believe that the normal routines of city life don't apply here.

I have some friends from different parts of the country that have been coming here for many years and it's to do two things, drink and gamble.

Many of them have never seen anything here besides the Strip and Freemont St. and really don't care about anything else. Some of them were just here and they went to Top Golf and the Mob Museum and I was a little surprised they even did that.

They may not do much outside of the casinos, but they do contribute (generously) to our economy.
