She needs a cut and a weave. I need a quality haircut. She used to go to "Dean" at Centennial and Simmons or thereabouts, but he's no longer there. Where can she get a good haircut and weave in North Las Vegas, please?

Look at the reviews on yelp. Las Vegas Restaurants, Dentists, Bars, Beauty Salons, Doctors

Unfortunately, one cannot depend on Yelp. Business owners have their friends get on and recommend their businesses. Just rave on and on like they were the greatest thing since sliced bread. When I first moved here, I depended on Yelp to find a good hairdresser. One wonderful review after another for an Asian hairdresser located in the Chinatown area on Spring Mountain. I happen to live in Summerlin but what did I know? I drove all the way over there and discovered he could barely communicate in English and had no idea what a bob hair cut was. He chopped my longish hair off badly and it took two more hit and miss haircuts to get it somewhat right.

^^ Yup. The best way to get a referral to a good stylist is to stop someone you see in a store, or at work, who has beautiful hair and ask them who they go to.

Agreed with NLVgal. A good calling card is a great hairdo! If you're not getting compliments then they're not doing it right.

Unfortunately we still need haircuts and the only woman I have seen with a great cut and color was from Orange County, CA. Won't someone please offer up a quality stylist. My hair is curling up around my neck!

You may want to try going to a local beauty supply store and see if they have flyers for local salons or stylists

The place on Craig next do the Home Depot does free cuts once a month. I forget if it's a Hair Cuttery or Great Clips or whatever because I moved. It's next to Capriotti's. Anyway, go in and ask for Bryan or Donna. And give them your email address. They'll email you when their students are in for free haircuts. If you're not very quiet about it, they'll act like they don't know what you're talking about.

I go to Euphoria off of Decater, across from Costco. Prices are fair and I get a good cut. My neighbor recommended this place to me as I had just moved here. So far so good.
