We love our doc. Once you find one, you tend to stick to them and keep them as secret ;-)

I'm still here, so I think they are awesome. I had a aneurysm in my heart. They fixed the aneurysm, root, arch, and replaced my aortic valve. My only complaint, even with insurance, I lost almost everything. I was diagnosed 3 days after my wife was diagnosed with cancer...but she's in remission now.....I look at everything differently now. I am very very thankful.....and even a few board members visited me at Summerlin.... It meant a lot!!!

So far, so good. I have just noticed that when you go to see a specialist, i.e. Dermatology or ENT, you tend to wait a longgggg time after you arrive for an appt. My last two appts took about 1.5 hours each to see the doctor. I know now to bring a good book and be prepared to wait.

Probably depends on your income or insurance.

Hmm, I better start looking for a local LV doctor and dentist.

Currently, I am scheduling those appointments in CA. At some point, I will be in LV the majority of the time.

Compared to other cities, I'd say it's harder to stumble upon good health care in Vegas, but that being said, there are lots of great doctors and practices here, definitely. You just need to do the research ahead of time to be sure you get them. And since Vegas is fairly large place, chances are better you can sign up with them, provided you're willing to drive the distance (given the relatively free flowing traffic, that shouldn't be a problem either).

Just start with the ones that work well with your insurance plan (in network, recommendations, etc.) then cross reference those with your favorite review site (Yelp, Angie's List, etc.) and you're sure you find what you're looking for here.

I've had my fair share of medical problems since I've been born. Never, ever had a bad doctor or bad care, either from the doctor's office or the hospital and its staff.

I've also had two very dear to me, family doctors in my lifetime already who have either retired or passed away.

Chose a young one now, lol.
