I currently live in Austin, TX, and I am considering moving to Las Vegas for awhile while I save to move to Hawaii at some point down the road. I just graduated from nursing school and I am looking for job opportunities and was wondering where the best places to look around Vegas would be. I do not want to live near the strip, but I'm more interested in living in newly developed or developing, surrounding suburbs. I prefer newer locations that are safe. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I would think where you live would be somewhat dependent on where you choose to work. There are hospitals and clinics throughout the valley so it's hard to recommend a convenient location. Most would recommend Henderson in the south and Summerlin in the west, but again, it depends on what kind of place you're looking for, what your budget is and where you'll be working.
