^ we have the same package from cox with phone/internet/cable and we pay less than a hundred dollars a month. imo thats pretty decent. as for the dish tv, i only had direct tv and ive had no problems with it. it was however a bit pricey which is why we moved over to cox when we moved to vegas.

The key to all this is what you do about cable. From my view The joint Cox deal is simply the best thing around. Side benefits include local access to things I care about like the broadcast of the County Commission and stuff. Beats the hell out of sitting through it. Sometimes when I am going to testify I watch it at home until it is within 45 minutes of my item then drive down.

Note that I watch four games of any sort in a gvien year. So I obviously am not a sports fan.

I had Dish for some years as well as Cox for high speed. But I had a private arrangement with Dish...a good friend was President. Unfortunately he has retired so I am back to being an peon and back to Cox. Note that if you have an RV (or claim to have one) you can get the major channels from both coasts as well as local...pretty handy sometimes.

I have dish network but not by choice. I live on Nellis and that's the only service we can get.

I don't know really. I misspoke a bit when I said it was the only service. There is a base cable company, but I heard their service sucks so I went with the only other choice, Dish Network.

I just recently moved on base and before that I lived right across the street and had Cox Cable. But for whatever reasons they are not allowed on base.
