Here's a picture taken in Red Rock Canyon that you wouldn't expect to see... there's a seasonal waterfal here, too, but it was just a trickle when I was there.

yeah it was! the whole valley looked like it was yellow sand from a distance...until you realized that it was all flowers in full bloom. incredible. |

just wait until you see the spring mts up close....these mts are different than those in CO or CA, both in vegetation and geology/geomorphology...really cool (their proximity to LV was the final selling point on moving here for me  ) |
