I take it you have an in-ground pool. About 10 years ago, I was out walking on an extremely windy day, and I saw one of these plastic children's swimming pools flying thru the air and wrapping itself around the front end of a car!

Given the wind gusts in this city, I will not be surprised one day to see a little child, a little puppy or kitten, flying thru the air!

A week or so ago, when there was some strong gusts, I was sitting on the sidewalk, down in a cable vault, when a very strong gust of wind sandblasted me with a few thousand little rocks. I had to wash my hair 3 times to get it all out that night. It hurt when they hit too.

in past 3 years weather in LV dramatically changed.
We have windy days every 2-4 days now, and wind is becoming stronger and stronger.
I was other day in docs office and he said 70% of his patients are there for allergies.
My pool guy complains he needs to clean his pools 2x more then it used to be 5 years ago.

I'm surprised nobody is talking about this climate change here in Vegas.

why?

Seems about the same to me. Every spring it gets windy and rainy. Unpredictable temps too.

Lived here for 17 years. Been going to the allergist that long too. With wind comes allergies.
If people are new to town, allergies are a possibility if they have never lived in this enviroment.

In 3 months, we will be complaining about the heat. I'll take the cool air in early April.

It does seem a little windier than normal.

Vegas needs the wind to clear out the nasty pollution that settles downtown. Wish it was always breezy. Beautiful spring weather lately.
