This will depend on the plants in your landscape.

march/april 3 days a week
may/September every day
oct/feb 1 day a week

4 minutes each station every 30 minutes from 7 am to 8.30 am

your water bill will state the days you can water

Currently doing it twice a day for only three minutes. Not actually using that much water but am keeping the seeds I put down moist.

Careful. There is drip and spray heads.

Drip can go daily in the height of the heat. Generally for more than a half hour. Normal drip heads go 1/2 ,1, or 2 gallons per hour. If it is a tree it may have 4 or 5 2 gallon heads. I would start at a half hour and watch.

Best way is to be observant. Most of the plants will show when they are lacking enough water by wilting or a color change. If that happens increase it.

Spray heads for lawns generally need two relatively short periods a day. Dawn and dusk are generally good. If you are on SNWA water follow their practice.

Consult a doctor if you experience a watering scenario lasting more than four hours....
