Circus Circus Adventuredome and Midway, Mandalay Bay Shark Reef, the Living Statues at Caesar's Palace, Siegfried and Roy's Secret Garden, the Fremont Street Experience Show, the rides at the top of the Stratoshphere. Those are all in close proximity to the Las Vegas Strip. If you are out and not limited to only the Strip, there is plenty more to do that kids will enjoy.

All I ask is to please understand that some places are not appropriate for children at all, and some places are not appropriate after a certain hour. I always cringe when I see strollers and other small children being dragged down Fremont Street after 11 PM (or really, even 9!); the parents scowling at the adult fun going on around them!

Even still, you may not want them exposed to the "sights" at 2:00am LOL

You can take them to this park where they can drive real massive construction machinery. It's a like a sandbox for big kids.

How about go shoot machine guns from all eras of war?

My family went for dinner on the strip. We decided. To walk it so the kids could see the Bellagio water show, etc. We ran into a person dressed as penis and of course the people handing out handbills of naked ladies. Its not for timid parents and I saw it as a teachable moment. And this was at 6pm!!! Also all the drunken tourists. My daughter wanted to go back next weekend to be where all the action was. whoa whoa whoa.

Why don't police stop these people from polluting the streets? Do they have a permit?
