Default Things to do and see on our honeymoon

Hi I'm from Australia and I'm coming to Vegas around April 2008 as part of our honeymoon. What are some things we "have to see and do" whilst in Vegas, and is the Bellagio all it's cracked up to be?

imo, bellagio is pretty nice. one thing you might want to consider is that boat ride thing (not sure on the name) at the venetian. i went on it with my girlfriend and she loved it. i have to admit it was a quite romantic. as for other things, im not so sure. i just moved here haha

it depends on what you guys want to do/see during your time in vegas....do you want the stuff LV is known for? (casinos, shows, nightlife, restaurants) or do you want the outdoor stuff? either way, you can hit both of them relatively easily.

i hear good things about the lake mead cruises (desert princess, i think) and the spring mts, red rock canyon, valley of fire are always good outdoor options. the water show at the bellagio is definitely worth seeing....and per a suggestion from another thread (http://www.city-data.com/forum/las-v...staurants.html) it might be worth following great days advice: "Eiffel Tower restaurant at the Paris - at dusk. Request a table for two by the window overlooking the Bellagio fountains"

hope you guys have fun.

Default Even Aussies need a break...

...after the third day.

I presume you are young and adventuresome...

Take the zero gravity flight. Go feel what it is like with zero gravity. Or go skydiving for real or in the vertical wind tunnel off the strip.

Take a baloon ride. Great view of the city. And it setups at dawn so you don't even have to go to sleep before you go.

Helicopter the grand canyon. Cheaper to take the plane flight but the helicopter is much more...well whatever. The Helicopter around the strip is also fun.

The rollercoaster at NYNY is world class. As is the shoot you up ride atop the stratosphere.

Go hiking in Red Rock. Sweat the booze out.

Go for the trail ride at Red Rock.

Act like a local. Go to Steiner Pub and have a Treasure Island Burger rare and lose $50 in the video poler machines.

Hit as many clubs as you can in one night. Take lots of money.

Rent a limo for the evening and ride up and down the strip to have a drink wherever the fancy hits you. You can also make out in the back of the Limo...drivers are not allowed to notice if you don't damage the upholstery.

One of our inner city denizens can brief you on the low life great fun places downtown. My wife won't let me go there. Well I did go to Hogs and Heifers once...she was with me. That is probably why I am not allowed to go again.

Actually I think MomMom was there that night...and Aqualung...but I could be wrong.
