Not where I go, usually how long they take. Some really do a good job, and others just try to get through really quick. I try to do during the week, if I have someone to watch my children. They take more time.

I run 50 miles per week and cycle 60 easily, that is why I go.
Most often, I take my wife as well.
I say 80% of them are legal operations (usually at retail strip) with open rooms.

I never said you were a loner. You are naive though. I can walk into ANY place on SM that advertises "massage" whether foot specific or otherwise and I can guarantee you I will leave with smile on my face 30 minutes to an hour later and my wallet will be $60 - $100 lighter depending upon if it was just a foot place or a full body place.
The only place I have not left "happy" from is the Thai place on SM near Westwind.
Not every place is as it appears to you, the "legitimate" customer and every one of those foot places on SM has an area in back that will cater to someone like me that is seeking a little more than a "foot" massage.
