We get them sometimes. It's just agents looking for another sale. Don't read too much into it.

Must be the season. We went from never getting them to three in two months. I have also seen two agents leave my home without leaving anything.(watched them go house to house).

The agent that sold me my house told me (just a couple of weeks ago) that for the first time she is having to do cold calls and go door to door to try and secure new listings. She cited a shortage of qualified inventory.

Funny you mention that. After a quick review of all my real estate "friends" on Facebook, they are all doing the exact same thing. So Vegas has gone from too many homes on the market to not enough?

That may not be what's happening, simply that all the big real estate companies won't allow the smaller agencies and their agents to get listings.

Summertime is traditionally one of the best times to sell, although I'm not sure how much that trend applies to Las Vegas, since there is rarely any bad weather to keep the people from looking year round. In my neighborhood though, there were three homes that went from "sale" to "pending" in the same week, after being on the market for 1-3 months, so there seems to be an uptick in buyers right now. My realtor says that Las Vegas has quite an inventory available, but apparently the existing houses on the market are not what new buyers are looking for right now, so people getting these cards, would be interesting to know what kind of house you have (bdrms, sqft, detached, etc.)

They are "farming" cold calling to built a network of names . Probably required by their brokers.
(I bet that the 'near the pig farm' never shows up as a amenity on a MLS.)
