I'm 67 and bought a house a year ago in Arkansas but I'm lonely, however I have worked an average of 2 hour each day in my yard. I have notice I’m having some problems with my memory and I think it’s mostly from not socializing. I would like to sell my house and move to Las Vegas in a retirement place. I have an Irish setter. I was thinking of the Holiday retirement center but to put my dog in a 400 square foot place isn’t good. I can only get a $150K VA loan and I don’t think that will get me into Del Webb. But if I was to make friends and maybe go in with someone, then I could share a place in Del Webb. I’m not sure so I’m posting to get some feedback.

If you're having memory problems you should see a physician; your memory loss might be caused by something other than loneliness.

Since you just recently moved to Arkansas, I assume you chose the location because you have friends and family nearby. Why not sell your home and look for a retirement community where you currently live ?
