I moved here in late Spring from snowy New England. Totally enjoyed the wicked hot summer.

Went for a fast run tthis morning. The sweat and cold breeze does not feel good.

Crazy huh? Considering I've been a life long northeastern resident.

I know now I moved to the right place for the great weather sans snow.

I'm with you. While others are celebrating the cooler temps to come, I am already preparing myself to miss the 90s and up. I already miss the sun being at a higher angle. I don't like it so low in the southern sky.

But, I've got to remember the alternative is much, much worse.

Yes We have hit the "in season". First 10 minutes of my PT this morning had me not liking it. A couple sets of repetitive burpees and it no longer felt so cool.

Side note: first night up on the ridge in Henderson that the temperature fell below what we had the AC set at.

I think the dry air feels colder than the actual temp but I will take cold and dry over cold and damp ANY DAY!

It was indeed chilly out there this AM.

IMHO mid 90s is PERFECT weather here.

I like to run shirtless. In fact, I've been shirtless for most of the summer.

Can't sleep on the floor anymore. It's wicked cold.

Don't celebrate the dry air too early. It could get real wet soon. As of yesterday, both the 30-day and 90-day average Southern Oscillation Index have now officially dipped below -8, into El Nino territory.

It may be a relatively mild El Nino compared to other severe ones in the past, but there definitely seems to be above average rain (and maybe snow?) coming this winter. We could use it.

We had a very mild summer this year. The mildest in my memory . Hopefully winter won't hand us all our collective asses.

Love watching the weather in Minnesota all winter.

OK, I'm motivated now. Got to go drain the pool!

"Wicked hot summer"...that made me chuckle. Wait until you get a real summer under your belt. This past summer felt like a warm spring to me.
