Anyone know of this happening? Anyone participating in this little "game"?
Seriously, I've found audio transmitting/recording devices in my home. I have also learned a few people are involved in spying on a single girl in her own home; then playing back the audio recordings for friends, family, and coworkers for their entertainment.
Why?

Really? Who could possibly have access to your home that would bug your house?

Who couldn't? What with 'bump keys', and all the other 'locksmith' tools readily available in retail stores near you.

Does not compute.

Sex fiends into hard panting?

Video takes some doing and someone would need to be really interested.

Such things generally occur in divorces and not much else.

I think it's a bunch of psychologists & psychiatrists conducting a study on paranoia.

Sounds like you are way out there...

You can't even legally record audio without two party consent in Nevada. If anything you said is real then you call the police and obviously you should have evidence to present when they show up... Like the devices you claim to have found.

I'm putting my tin foil hat on and waiting for your reply.

Isn't there a movie based on this?

My co-worker's ex-husband bugged her phone, house and put a GPS tracker on her car. They were going through a nasty divorce at the time. She's had the bugs removed since then.

My first thought about this was skepticism (sounds a bit paranoid.) But it's really very easy to do. I own a miniature security camcorder that could easily do this. If someone has access to the property, they could easily plant and retrieve this type of device.
