The traffic was hell when I got into Vegas today. Maybe it was the time I got here ... around 5:30pm. When I lived here before I was rarely driving that time of day, but periodically I would be out late afternoon and I swear the traffic wasn't this bad 4 years ago. Is it just me or has the traffic gotten worse? I know in 4 short years the traffic got worse where I'm from originally.

I drove during it last year. It was hell. I was stuck in traffic trying to make it back to base to drop off the cab and go home.

My shift on Sunday ends at two. I'm not taking a ride after 1... It's insanely dumb that they have it on the strip. The Red Rock scenic loop is exactly 13 miles... Do it twice and you've got your full marathon.
But no... We have to completely shut down one of the busiest stretches of road in the entire country for this.

It really inconveniences hundreds of thousands of people.

But Traffic on the strip is horrible friday and saturday, but isn't too bad most of the other days.
Only a few roads have a lot of traffic off strip. Even the highways aren't bad save for the spaghetti bowl or when some idiot can't drive and crashes into an idiot that can't use a cross walk.

That's brilliant! Seriously you should submit that to whomever is in charge, the mayor and anyone else you can think of.

Not sure why local politicians make bad choices for the community.

I am soooooo freaked out by the traffic that I honestly wonder if I made a mistake coming back? But it's too late. I'm here. At least for the time being. I miss the old Las Vegas. I mean waaaaaay long ago
