Which bank has ATMs every where? I was hoping Comerica was out there but obviously it isnt. This means I will have to change banks.

NFCU has enough Auntie M's to take care of business, but it would be nice if they had a few more. |

If you want a lot of ATMs I think WAMU is the best out here in Las Vegas. I've had them for years and they are pretty good.

I just learned that my CU here in Ohio has some sort of agreement with CU's all over the US so I will be able to do all my banking in Vegas without having to change my bank immediately. If you join a CU where you are maybe they offer that too.

Change your bank. Out of state checks here are unreasonably suspect. You need a Nevada Drivers License and a Nevada Bank Account. We use NSB which is fine.

If you travel, go with Bank of America. They have ATMs in every state, saving you tons of fees.

I have accounts with wells Fargo, Bank of America, Community One Federal Credit Union, and Weststar. I have been with Wells Fargo the longest, but really have a hard time with their unreasonable fees and customer service. I don't mind Bank of America, but I have to say the best are the credit unions. they always offer incentives and no fees for using any credit union ATM. I'd stick with a credit union. Although, I have to say I heard WAMU was pretty good too. My friend is able to get an advance on her paychecks from time to time without an outrageous fee that some of these check cashing places charge.

Come on! We can't go out of town for a weekend without getting the bank's approval? And there was plenty of money in the account. We checked the balance while in Cal just to see if anyone had hacked into it. Needless to say, come the end of the month, my wife is shopping for a new bank. |

I bank with BofA and have always been able to contact a bank rep 24 hours and toll free regarding these types of things. I do pay fees for things that I find unreasonable sometimes, but haven't been disgusted enough to take my business elsewhere. |

Well, how low do you have to go to get away from the "suspicious" spending. The first of the transactions that my wife tried was for $80 in cash. Bear in mind that we regularly pull $200 at a time when at home. This was just because we were out of town. If their atm cards are that prone to theft, then perhaps they should not even issue them.
And, BTW, this is not about "protecting" us. Federal banking laws do that. This is about "protecting" the bank. Call me a libertarian if you will, but it really ticks me off that the bank can put you in a situation where you have to call them and let them know exactly what you are doing just to access your account in the name of "protection". |
