We're looking at buying a used vehicle and we want to get it inspected by a mechanic before we pull the trigger. The dealer doesn't mind if we do this, but our regular mechanic is in Henderson on Boulder and the dealer doesn't want to take it that far since he'd have to have one of his guys take it over there and wait for it. So I was wondering if anyone can suggest a place in the vicinity of W. Sahara and I-15 that could do a pre-purchase inspection on a Hyundai? I could take it to Planet Hyundai which is about 5 miles away from the dealer, but I was thinking an independent mechanic with a good reputation might be better. Alternately, I could pay someone to come over to the dealer and look at the car (if you know someone willing to do that; of course we'd pay them too), but the dealer doesn't have a lift they can put it on, so I'd rather take it to a shop if possible. Thanks for any suggestions.

I recommend Jeff's Pro Auto Services in Chinatown, off of Spring Mountain and Valley View. He owns his own shop and does good work.
