According to this, Tacoma ranks high in stress, but it doesn't translate to the highest suicide rate:

I agree. I've lived in Seattle since 1994 and the weather is something I can do without during the 6 month winter. Granted there are days when it clears up and it's great here. Having grown up in the bay area, I prefer a little more sunlight.

My job allows me to live in any of the western states so LV just needs to be "home" not a place of employment. Now that I'm 50 and single, I'm not sure what the prospects are for singles are in my demographic but it cant be any worse than Seattle.

I've also considered Phoenix but frankly LV seems to have most of what I want (I dont gamble) from a climate, real estate and diversity point of view.
