Exactly. That's why I wanted to know if the OP had hard evidence or if they were just insinuating as much. When I worked at Cox some of the customers knew how to wire a house and test the signal going into that home. They knew the installers by name. In short they knew what they were taking about, in many cases far more than your average TSR. It doesn't hurt to call Cox, I'd want to see what they had to say if it were me.
