That's interesting because Advertising and Marketing are not directly RTF, but you can jump to one of the four media groups Advertising, Marketing, PR and RTF using your skill set. Did you have a minor in one of the other groups?

I think because you were in a top 10 market it was probably more challenging. If you'd moved to a smaller market or even a mid market you could have got your start there and worked your way up and used your degree. There's always jobs in television advertising and now days it seems like there are even more jobs for electronic media as that market expands and creates jobs that didn't even exist 10 years ago. Such as being a freelance social media manager or marketer for a couple hundred bucks a day depending on the client list and accounts. Honestly that doesn't take much to sell and do. Being from the generation that grew up on computers. It's kind of our thing.

There are lots of alternative life style people in Las Vegas . They always like couples. LOL I haven't tried this an haven't been to vegas in years but its all over just beneath the surface. You know what happens in Vegas...

As for me I always used to like going to the non public parts of Lake Mead. Very quiet - good swimming.

Agree. OP was a "TV-Radio-Movie" major, and wanted to do marketing. But he has been only able to get retail job. That says something about the person.
I agree that OP should go back to school and learn some real trade skills. I think he is doing just that on computer technician training.

Personally I think you ought to give Vegas a shot. Take chances in life!!!
You are young and have no kids.
What are your alternatives? Continue to live at home?

I'm leaning on moving to the Seattle area instead of Las Vegas.
