I would still live here if I was making double. We actually love living in Las Vegas, despite how much people like to complain and drag it down. We also have diversified income... it's important to get to that point so all your eggs are not in one basket.

I'm currently making over $600,000 a year. My businesses are still growing however and I hope to reach 7 figures a year within a few years and a more long term goal of reaching 8 figures net worth within my 30s. I have a couple businesses I'm running now but my main income is coming from internet marketing. Essentially I help companies make more money by bringing in sales for them and I get a percentage of the revenue.

Wait a minute!!! Almost all of the people listing their jobs here are tech jobs. That's impossible. There are no computer tech jobs here - just read all the previous posts that say so.

This is not the right way to do a poll that will give you any answers, BTW.

Not sure if you would consider my job a tech job. But my job is very portable. I work from home but I can do it from anywhere. I can go on vacation and continue working if I really wanted to. I freelance and drive online traffic and sales for various different companies. I choose who to work with and I can work as little or as much as I desire to.

It seems LV is a town of very rich, and very poor.

This thread is now going into outright lunacy. I cannot find the exact numbers, but I do know the average salary in Las Vegas is just over $800 a week. I read this within the last few months. Somewhere around 10% of individuals make over $100,000 a year. If I were to believe this poll it is 38%. LOL as this is an anonymous forum and an anonymous poll at that. I will now revise my situation.

I make over 100 million dolllars a year at 38 years old. I hope to be a billionaire in my 40's. I also have a bridge to sell you.

I would assume that the people who post here are in the upper echelon of incomes, as a rule. It's a demographic thing, in my mind. It doesn't surprise me at all that 38% of the posters make over $100K. We are predominately older (40s-60s it seems in general), and have careers, not jobs.

Not sure if this was aimed at me but even before this thread ever existed, I already previously stated that my net worth was 7 figures in one thread and that I have to put up with Strip traffic in order to shop at the boutiques at Crystals in Aria in another thread where Tom Ford suits easily surpasses $6,000 each and I have a wardrobe full of these.

I have no idea why some people have a hard time believing 1 percenters exist. Vegas has 2 million people. You'd expect there to be tens of thousands of 1 percenters in the city. Mathematically 1 out of 100 are 1 percenters which is still a lot of people. It's also highly likely that the pool of people here are not a random sample of the Las Vegas population. A much higher percentage of low wage earners are infrequent internet users compared to higher income earners. It's not hard to accept that college graduation rates and income figures for board members here would be at least somewhat above the median.

But do I care if you or anyone believes my income figures or not? No. Whether you believe it or not does not make my income any less true. And besides.."A lion doesn't concern himself with the opinions of sheep".
