Actually the SLC speculation was that LV would drive up the price in SLC...I believe UNEV has roughly 1/4 of the total capacity. But it is not clear it has the refining resources to drive that fully.

Just a quick update. This Shell station now has gas for $1.79 a gallon! What an awesome deal! I have not seen prices this low since 2009.

We are about 20 cents a gallon lower than that here in Phx. Amazing prices either way.

That's the one I use, on Eastern right off 215 next to In & Out. I prefer Shell to Circle K and random gas because it seems like I get more miles per gallon with their brand. I never used to care about brand and just went for price but my current car tracks mpg for me and some brands are better than others. Anyone else notice this?

I do notice when I use shell or chevron/texaco that I get more miles from a fill up. This only holds true during the summer months when its 90+. When its winter with cooler temps I see no difference in my mileage from using off brand and premium brands.
