I searched the forum or a thread discussing the healthplans available in LV but could find none. What are the major heathplan providers? I know Kaiser is not in LV unfortunately.

thanks,

We're with Sierra Health this year and so far we've liked it.

Default thanks for the info - very useful

All, thanks for your links and info -

doing searches on the various sites for my pending move.

Surprised as so far every plan is United Health, as they seemed to have cornered the market.

Indeed. When they were allowed to buy both Sierra/ HPN ( also includes Senior Dimensions ) as well as Pacificare, which was Sierra's only real competition, an effective monopoly was created, reimbursements were crushed, corners were cut, and thus we have the kind of reputation for healthcare that we have.
