I would not recommend this at all, I was "lucky" enough to see a screening of DumbTo and even though we got to the theater about an 45-60mins before show time, the line was huge and we had to sit 3 rows from the front

If I had to guess, you need to be there 1.5hrs before the show

your screening is probably similar to this AmEx screening offer? man that sounds bad. I also heard seating ain't guaranteed, first come first serve. I think it's IMAX but I might pass, thanks

We get the weekly free screening offers from one of the websites that offers free screenings weekly. Some theaters have a much longer line than others for the screening. We've had good success at smaller lines at GVR and Red Rock. The Palms is always the longest, and we've had a few shows for which we weren't able to get entry due to their capacity.

Seating is not guaranteed in any of the free screenings, so it's a good idea to get there very early if you want to see the show.

No, there are 3 or 4 different companies who send out free screenings to just about every movie. No military service required.

I've done the free movie screenings a few times and would not recommend it. Like OmegaSupreme said you have to get there very early and wait in line. Even then you'll most likely wind up with a crappy seat. We once couldn't get two seats together.

Your best bet, if you're 50 or over, is to go to a Stations casino on Senior Day (Wed., I think) and see the movie for $4.

Couldn't agree more. We just went to see "Burnt" on Saturday night at a Station. Senior tickets were only $7.25 ea. and there were only a handful of people in the theater.
