So we already know that The Park will be called "Toshiba Plaza"
...
However, many sources are saying the new Las Vegas Arena's naming rights will go to T-Mobile.

Everything is still on track with the completion date next spring.

There has also been more details released on the arena's features... Including a boardwalk that will connect the VIP level of the arena directly to the fifth floor of NYNY's parking structure - completely bypassing the arena's main concourse.

Talk of landing an NHL team has been steady since day one. While an expansion team is very likely for LV, NHL has announced that they will not be voting on the expansion at their annual December meetings later this month.

It'll be advertised as all you can eat/drink for $40. But once you get in there, you'll find out that the concessionaires don't go to certain parts of the stadium. And they only hand out the first plate of nachos. After that, you've exceeded your nacho limit and have to wait in a line for 20 minutes for more nachos. But you can wait in line as often as you want.

But at least you're not obligated to stick around for the entire performance, so that's nice.

Default Has anyone been to the new T Mobile Arena

I must say I do not like crowds and the thought of being in a venue with 20,000 people is a turn off for me. And then having to pay for parking, look for parking or worry about parking is another strike for me. And then the third strike is the price of concessions. And then, the tacked on fees on the price of the ticket is the fourth strike. I guess I'm getting old because its just too much.

I've got tickets for Billy Joel and one of the Garth Brooks shows. Looking forward to seeing the new venue and surroundings. I just hope it sounds good or these will be the only 2 shows I see there.

Only way I was going to drop money on a GnR show was if I could get tickets to that first show. And I tried but couldn't get anything I liked. But with them, there is no promise of a 2nd show on this tour. Heck their is still little hope of getting a complete first show.

Good luck.

Thank you MGM for creating 'The Park'. It is a beautiful open space that will bring the locals back to the Strip.
