Hello I am at upstate New York if anyone can answer this living in Las Vegas, I need your help.
I've been in a bad relationship for 9 years and the bi--- is crazy, immature, cheated on me 5- I don't know how many times and I could write a book but I don't like to type that much. If I could press a button to delete her I would jump up and down on it, with both feet. Hate is an understatement. I'm a waiter in upstate New York and have a 10 year old and a 5 year old. The 5 year old lives with me and my crazy girlfriend and she's the type that would yell out of the window help somebody call the cops, he arguing with me. She has an excuse for everything. I mean everything.I mean just a dumb rolly polly blonde ***** that works at taco bell and will never do anything with her life. She's taking 4 yours just to get her GED becauce they have to break it down to her dumb ass. I've been a waiter for 16 years and am VERY good at it. I want to go back to scholl but I want to get Farrrr away from her. I feel I could move to Vegas make some money and get custody of my kids. I know some of you are saying why don't you just get custody there and rent a room or apartment or something but it aint that simple. I heard in Vegas you could be bleeding in the street and an ambullance wouln't help you. Is that true? I also heard that crackheads and meth heads are all over the place ON THE STRIP. I don't gamble and spend little money and would save it. Long story but 17% of child support here will leave me with nothing but if I get it court ordered here then move to Vegas it might even out better. And also SHE IS SOOO STUPID, I'm so sick of her slow talk and inability to add 2 digit numbers let alone 1 digit numbers in her head. I want to be single and didn't want a kid in the first place, even though I love my kids. What should I do?.

I read over your post...and I see desperation there.

To be honest...now this is my opinion love...I don't think moving to Las Vegas will solve your problems.

You're not going to make more money here in Las Vegas, there is so much over- saturation of waitstaff applicants, and you'd really have to start out low, low on the totem pole, IF you got hired. It takes a long time to work your way up to a decent wage as well...

Things are more expensive here in Las Vegas, than upstate New York..and you can't hide from anything here either. "Running away" to Las Vegas is the worst possible way in which to move here...or anywhere, for that matter. This city is non-forgiving of folks who have "no plan" and come because they "heard" it was Nirvana and is the "place to be and everything is EASY to get". Your desperation will quickly turn to great despair moving here under the conditions in which you stated above.

While I don't know who is telling you wild stories about crackheads all over the Strip (it's just tourists there, lol) and ambulances who won't help you if you're bleeding all over (double LOL)..Las Vegas is like any other city with a big population...it can be real tough when you come here with nothing but your hands on your a$$.

Take some friendly advice from someone who's probably old enough to be your Mom...get your affairs in order in NY...and foremost, see that your children are safe and well taken care of. The children should be your first priority.

Then, after you have figured all that out...if you want to move to Las Vegas, then, and only then, you could do so.

Just keep in mind, the streets here are not paved with gold and there's no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow here either. You wouldn't expect that from any other city on the planet...Las Vegas is no different.

Well let me start off by telling you that I'm not crazy and I'm not a fruit loop.
you're just saying that over the internet because I can't reach out and pysically grab you. Trust. And to thee old lady. I'm from the 5 boroughs of New York City and I'm street smart like a motherf-----. Also I came to upstate New York with 20 dollars in my pocket. Not saying I would do that again but I do have a plan. Go with a acople thousand and play broke at a mision for free stay and get a job. I am bilinguial and I work harder than a mexican if I had to. And I'm not your average waiter like "Hi can I take your order". I have spark and 16 years experience. I've gotten 8 job offers so far and it not Wendys. If I stayed in New York she would bother me aggravate me and so on. She wopuld pick a fight, and with no sracthes on her call the cops and get me arrested. I spent a day in jail b4 and she didn't even press charges. Oh and I don't gamble. I just want a place to go to school with no bother. I've never been single b4 and don't want a relationship, and I plan to come back. The most people make here is like 15 hr and they are so racist it's NOT funny. Smiling at me like lookat this black man working, multi-tasking and not robbing people. I hate it. Been up here 10 years and with her 9 years. I want a change. If you've never waited tables b4 it's because you can't deal with people. But I can. Respond please!
