Many retirees do convention staffing or event security. As for security many of the jobs can just be monitoring lines entering events. Nothing strong arm.

As long as all you want is part time minimum wage, you should be able to find something!

I thought part time jobs were easy to get. No one wants to hire full time, and give benefits.

Minimum wage is OK. I just want to work 2-3 days a week to keep me busy.

What about being a Uber driver? What things should I be concerned about?

You might want to check out www.uberpeople.net. It is a forum for Uber drivers and passengers for that matter. I am also going to be 60 when I move to Vegas. I am thinking about doing Uber to get started too or at least have a baseline paycheck I can count on. From what I hear Uber drivers are struggling as fares get cut, but from my perspective it still gives me a bottom line. In reality, I will be moving out there with significant reserves and really won't have to work too hard, but, like you, I want something to do and some income. Also, you could hand out resumes to your passengers if you think it is appropriate. Curious to know where you end up!

I've run across many part time jobs for seniors. First, I was going to suggest Uber but the poster above just did so. Many of the casinos will be glad to have you, any of the senior communities if you live in them will put you on in their community centers for min. wage, the convention centers, working extra for trade shows and many of the grocery stores.
