Question What about job opportunities?

How is the job market in Vegas? It was a place I was thinking of relocating to but nervous about the opportunities.
Thanks

Residential real estate related industries and residential construction are down. Other than that I believe the job market is rather good.

don't know but with about 100000 lawyers per sq ft it's gotta be a good field here.

winglessbutterfly1 is on a distinguished road
we moved exactly one year ago, and it has been difficult. I do like it here but it is pretty lonely. We have yet to make friends, especially my teenage daughter and we do not have family. But I was told it takes about two years to get adjusted. But you have so much here, many possibilities. I do miss the ocean and rain. But there are other things here that are great.

Plenty of opportunity. What particular field of practice, personal injury, commercial litigation, etc.? I have a few attorney connections and I could see if they are looking for some help. If not, there are always a bunch of ads in the paper for your career.

Are you from WA by any chance? My wife is from Bremerton and I spent a year in S. King County. I am originally from San Diego, so I can certainly sympathize about the ocean.

No, I'm not. I'm from California originally. In answer to your first question. I have experience in PI Litigation but am willing to learn anything new.
I appreciate your help with this, thanks.
Melissa

LOL, I was actually asking winglessbutterfly, but which part of CA are you from?

Let me ask around. There are plenty of PI attorneys out here, PLENTY. I have a connection to an attorney that deals mostly in criminal defense, mainly DWI. I may have a comm. litigation attorney I could talk to as well. Are you already in town? If not, when do you plan on being here?

I see jobs for Attorneys offices all the time. I saw an ad for just an assistant today for $19.00 an hour today, but with your experience you would be able to do better then that!
