For the "safest city" read that city with the largest time between accidents for rate payers at Allstate.

the answer is that accidents rates do not correlate well with weather conditions. Five of the ten safest cities have lousy weather...Fort Collins CO being the safest US city is a classic example.

On the safest city list from Allstate Henderson is 57th, LV is 123rd and NLV is is 130th. Unfortunately the way that list is done the Strip is not included. NYC is 155th, LA is 188th and SF is 190th. All are out of the 200 largest incorporated communities.

Again another statistic where LV proves to be around average.

Drivers here don't know how to drive, THAT is why they can't even keep wrecks to a minimum in perfect conditions.

they actually do better than the nation in Henderson..and by a good bit.

If you actually follow the result Fort Collins must have ideal conditions. So our problem must be not enough precipitation.

Actually peole in southern CA drive at an expert level but it is still a hell of a place to drive. Simply too much flow.

And you can move yourself to the best third of the US drivers by simply staying in Henderson.

No, people in socal have their heads up their butts. If they knew how to drive, there would not be excessive traffic.

Now you have gone to the absurd. Lived for 20 years at the intersection of the 405 and 605. That is where the 405 is about 14 lanes wide...and still clots up in the morning rush. Even perfectly driven autonomous vehicles will not fix the 405 though they will make it a little better. And it is easy to show why. There exist very accurate models of the behavior of traffic flow on freeways which will always show you how and why the will jam and will tell you how many cars it takes.
