from the local bird cage liner:

narrowly delivered a new rainfall record for the date, the National Weather Service said.... valley recorded 0.43 inches of rain by 8 p.m. Saturday. On Feb. 18, 2005, the valley recorded 0.41 inches of rain.

Not much precip down here in Henderson (so far). I heard Las Vegas got some showers. Any reports? . .

We're in enterprise...got maybe an 1/8' of an inch? High winds though. Yesterday we got 1/2 inch in right about 10 minutes of rain. Our first "real" gully washer, and it was a doozy!

We were waiting at the light going to Costco on N. Decatur, and got caught in a nice long downpour. Was fun getting into Costco, kept waiting for it to ease up and gave up and went in all nice and soaked. Was worse afterward, felt like a very yucky muggy swamp. I could never live in a humid swampy place. Good thing it doesn't last long here.

Heavy showers with small hail here in southeast Henderson from around 3:20 - 3:45pm. I wonder how those solar panels held up? Noisy bouncing off and against the metal patio roof.

Must have been localized. I didn't get any hail, just a little bit of rain and thunder
