I have to say, one of THE BEST shows that I record and watch each week is on Vegas PBS. It's called Outdoors Nevada. The host goes to 2 or 3 different NV locations all around the state and shows what is considered to be the best or most interesting thing in that city or town and why it is important. Many of these places, I never realized existed or thought there was nothing to see or do. That's the problem with this state; It's so vast and empty, it's easy to assume there is nothing much to see. I argue that it should be mandatory viewing in school. Superb!

Definitely go. Well worth the trip. Bring your bikes if you have them. Lots of bike trails all around the city, county and of course Zion national park, Snow canyon park, Bryan head, etc.
Sometimes I really miss living there in good old Mayberry Rfd. (St. George) Of course it has grown somewhat since we moved away from there in January 2000, but we visited a few years ago and it had that same quaint feel to it. The only thing I didn't like while living there, ok, two things, was the tax on food and someone always trying to convert us. Other than that, it was great.

I wouldn't have the problem of people trying to convert me, but the extra tax is no bueno.

I definitely want to check out Zion, but that's more of a weekend trip than a day trip.
