Could it be any more obvious that posts #18 and #20 were made by shills?

I will give you 18 to the shill side. Maybe 20. I would not give either any weight.

Then again I like Bonnie Springs...in a kind of LV Redneck sort of way. I always take relartives with kids there...and they almost always love it.

Pour a couple of beers into the elders and they like it too.

For those of you posting these rude comments - do you know ANYthing about the history of Bonnie Springs or how this place came about? Do your homework before you talk crap. Bonnie is an amazing woman. She takes in ANY displaced animals in the city of Las Vegas, no one is turned away. She is also quite intelligent, a very interesting woman who if you have had the PRIVELEDGE to meet you would be blown away.

I thought this post died by it's own terms.

Bonnie Springs has been there in the same condition it's in now for what? 50 years or so? It's a barnyard folks. The touristy stuff was added on years later, but the animals and restaurant have always been part of it. We always take guests and kids there. It's fun, but the food has never been consistent. Maybe that's part of the charm ...you get potluck, sort of.

I married the only Texas woman that didn't own any oil, and never rode a horse. I put her on her first horse out there. The horse had the upper hand all the way. Watching him take off for the barn with her screaming was sort of funny.

Agreed. I don't know what people are expecting going out there. It's not going to have flashing neon lights all over it and a martini bar. It is rustic on purpose to cater to the more natural and peaceful side of Nevada.

I have lived here since the early 90's. My Daughter was born in Las Vegas and Bonnie Springs was a pretty good place to take Pre schoolers and elemantary school aged children. There has to something for kids to see and do in the Las Vegas Valley.
