Smile Best zip codes in vegas to look for a house

Hi
My husband and I will probably be moving to Vegas in the middle of the year. We are a young couple (25 & 30), have no kids and have no plans for kids so we are not worried for schools. We like entertainment, to go out to the movies and walk around places like the "district" in green valley. We were in Vegas last year and visited some areas like green valley and around the area and we like it.
We also prefer new construction, houses built in the last few years. I'll also be going to UNLV so I would like a place not too far away or at least easy to commute to the college.
So if you could help me by giving some zip codes to look at when I do my internet search would be great!

Thanks

Approximately 80% of the population moved here in the last 20 years, at least half of them in the last ten years. So most homes are relatively new. I'd recommend getting a realtor and letting them search for what you are looking for. It will be a whole lot easier. People will try to answer this, but just to let you know in case you want to do a little searching, there are many different threads on this forum where others have posted their opinions to your question.

Thanks Buzz
I forgot to say the most important thing, we want a house in a safe neighborhood. I have read some of the threads but they mostly talked about good schools for kids, parks for kids, etc; and honestly that doesn't make any difference to us.
I will contact a realtor when we know for sure we are moving, for now, we are only looking into these things to see if we could get the kind of house we have now in nashville in las vegas and evaluate if it's worth the move.
Thanks again

Anywhere green or yellow will do. If UNLV is a big deal stay in the SE quadrant. otherwise wherever.
