Does anyone have any tips, tricks, or suggestions about the real estate trends for the Las Vegas area?
If I were a betting person, I think the housing is going to jump dramatically here for the next 3 years or so...when my house hits 500k, I'm out. Don't know where I would go probably a huge downsizing considering now I've had open heart surgery 2013 and a stroke (last month) here.

Don't bet on it. There just isn't the demand and still plenty of foreclosure inventory to go through.

Except that's what the naysayers have been saying every year since 2012.. I wonder what the market has done since then, for every single year... Hmmm

The only issue with holding on to property now is that when you do go to sell, most other places will have risen by the same amount or more and the net effect is you pay more (selling costs and transfer taxes on higher property values)

I'm curious regarding your reasons for moving to Austin and now considering moving back to Las Vegas.
What were you hoping to find in Austin, or are missing about Las Vegas?
